I serve as Editor-at-Large of The Vassar Review, previously Editor-in-Chief and Arts Editor.
Vassar’s international, multidisciplinary literary arts journal is published annually in the spring digitally and in print. A collaboration between students, faculty, staff, and professional artists, it is a revival of the former literary arts magazine published by the faculty and students of Vassar College. The Vassar Review entered the literary scene in 1927 shaped by a small circle of students, including Elizabeth Bishop and Muriel Rukeyser.
Flesh & Form (2018), for which I was Editor-in-Chief, launched at The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center featuring a performance by contributing artist M Lamar.
Cover artwork by Mickalene Thomas.
